This room is in the oldest part of the house, dating back to the sixteenth century. It has windows on three sides and boasts views of the old farm, the chapel and the grounds. The original terracotta floor tiles have been retained and there are beams throughout. There is a large desk should you need to do some work or research for your stay. The bedroom features an open fireplace, UK king-sized walnut and ash four-poster bed, a Hypnos mattress, 300 thread count linen and goose-down bedding. (Hypo-allergenic bedding available on request)

The complimentary in-room larder contains a bottle of chilled Rosé de Loire, French beer and bottled still water – yes, it’s all yours! The 14m2 bathroom is spacious, light and luxurious.
