  • London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord. Direct train from Paris Montparnasse to Angers. Eurostar. e.g Depart London at 1024, arrive Angers 1610, be at MdeJ by 5pm.  Return departing Angers 1444, arrive London 1939. £79 each way 2nd class, £104 each way First Class.
  • Paris Montparnasse to Angers, average journey time 1 hour 34 minutes. 13 trains a day, prices from €11 each way.

Portsmouth to:

  • Caen – up to 3 sailings a day, including overnight, 6-7 hr crossing. Comfy ferries with choice of cabins or seats, entertainment, decent cafeteria and fine-dining restaurant. Car + 2 people from £109 each way.
  • Le Havre – Car + 2 people from £95 each way. This is Britanny Ferries’ ‘no-frills’ ferry crossing to NW France. It’s a 3.5 hour crossing with basic café facilities.
  • St Malo – 10 hrs 45 mins overnight, 9 hrs day crossing. Prices from £179 each way for a car + 2 people.
  • Cherbourg – 3hr crossing. From £119 each way for a car + 2 people.
  • Poole to Cherbourg with Brittany Ferries, 4.5 hrs. Prices from £109 each way for a car + 2 people.
  • Newhaven to Dieppe with DFDS Ferries, 4 hrs. 3 crossings daily May – Sep, 2 crossings daily Oct – Apr. Car + 2 people from £49 each way.
  • Dover / Folkestone to Calais numerous options via Eurotunnel, ferry or hovercraft.
